av! I spent the morning staying at home playing PC games
whilst hoping for the postman to turn up with my surprise... but
haiz... 
Then at 1:30pm, almost fainting from hunger, I decided to head
to Victoria Gardens Mall. I told myself to save money by
cooking my meals but I couldn't resist the Hainanese Chicken
Rice. 
Bloody
AUD 7.80 but at least the chilli sauce was authentic and the
chicken was tender and the rice was mildly flavoured. As
close to the real McCoy as we can get here.
Then I went to Angus Robertson and K-Mart scouting for the best
price for the book, "Marley and Me" with Jennifer Anniston and Owen
Wilson on the cover. I want to read the book before watching
the movie. Bloody AUD 25.00!! 
WHY
are bloody fiction books so darn expensive these days?!
BTW, av and fudgie, please go commit yourselves to reading a
certain number of books for 2009 in our new League of Booklovers
thread! 
I've read Marley & Me ... Its so sad!!! I cried esp at the
end of the book ..
